Supporting women through family life

Hello, I'm Katie, a health coach with a strong foundation in nutrition science and a genuine love of good food, home cooking and practical wellbeing.

I support mothers through every stage of family life – from pregnancy and postpartum to the challenges of raising young children and navigating midlife health. Together, we work on improving energy, digestion, immunity, weight management and hormonal wellbeing through realistic changes that fit around busy lives.

Where appropriate, I can also support the health and wellbeing of the wider family, including babies, children and teenagers, helping you navigate common concerns around nutrition, immunity and healthy habits.

I work with women who are tired of restrictive diets and overwhelmed by conflicting advice. We focus on what is effective for your body, your lifestyle and your family to improve how you feel without the need for strict rules. Health is about balance and if something makes you miserable, it's not worth doing.

When life is full, it's easy to put your health last

Most women know what they should do to feel well. Eat decent food. Get enough sleep. Move their bodies. Spend time outside. Slow down occasionally. But working out exactly how to do it can be an effort, and then life gets in the way.

Pregnancy, young children, work, ageing parents, packed diaries, and endless jobs that go unnoticed. With all this to deal with, it’s no wonder we opt for convenience over what our bodies actually need.

You might be struggling with your energy, digestion, weight, hormones, or immune system. Or perhaps you just don't feel quite like yourself anymore.

The answer isn't a restrictive diet, expensive supplement or complicated wellness regime. Feeling good can be enjoyable and surprisingly simple.

For generations, women stayed well through ordinary, everyday habits. They cooked proper food, walked most places, spent time outdoors, ate with the seasons and understood that good health was built over time.

Many of those habits have been lost beneath a mountain of conflicting (and often bizarre) popular modern health advice. But when those foundations are in place, life just tends to feel easier. You have more energy for the people and things you love, and greater confidence and reslilience.

My role is to help you find your way back to the fundamentals of health using strong, evidence-based knowledge in a way that works for you in the reality of family life. Together, we'll focus on small, practical changes that can make a real difference.

Good health shouldn't make life harder, it should help you enjoy it more.

How I help

Feeling healthy and strong rarely comes from doing one thing perfectly. It's usually the result of lots of small things working together: delicious and nourishing food, adequate hydration, restorative sleep, regular movement, time outdoors, time to undwind and enough space for fun and connection.

No two clients are the same, and the support I offer reflects that. Whether you're pregnant or preparing for it, raising young children, balancing work and family, navigating perimenopause and midlife or something completely different, together we'll work on practical changes that fit around your life.

We may focus on:

Energy

Supporting steady energy levels through balanced nutrition, blood sugar support, restorative sleep, stress management and daily habits that work with your body

Hormonal health

Supporting hormonal balance through nutrition, sleep, stress management and lifestyle changes that fit into everyday life, including support for unwanted weight gain.

Digestion

Reducing bloating and digestive discomfort while supporting gut health, nutrient absorption and a healthier relationship with food.

Immunity

Helping you and your family stay resilient with supportive and protective nutrition, restorative sleep and stress management.

Food & family meals

Simple meal planning, practical recipes and realistic strategies to make feeding yourself and your family feel easier, not harder.

The foundations of good health

Looking at the bigger picture, including sleep, movement, hydration, stress, rest and pleasure. Building the habits that help your body function at its best, so you're less reliant on quick fixes such as caffeine, sugar and alcohol to keep going or unwind.
